YA News: Philippine Version

Hi there! This week’s YA News is earlier than usual simply because I’m too excited to tell you what I want to tell you.

First up: I have a new blogger affiliate! Please give a warm welcome to Nicole and Michelle from The Twins Read, which is also the newest blog on the block. They just launched their blog on October 20^th with a Halloween-themed giveaway – make sure you join that one.

I looked everywhere but just couldn’t spot a copy of my most awaited book of my favorite series eveeeer. WHHHHHHHHYYY??? :( Noes. This can’t be happening. I need my yearly dose of Caster Chronicle goodness N-O-W. *ahem - This is available in FullyBooked!

YA News: Movies, Covers, Trailers & Other Bookish Stuff (3)

Hi guys! Today’s YA News is all about new covers, trailers, upcoming books and freebies.  

Covers

The first two covers are blazing! Phoenix by Elizabeth Richards – the sequel to Black City which I love love love! Also, Screen Gems optioned the film rights to the Black City series! Eeeep! So excited about this, read Elizabeth Richards' blog post about it. Apollyon by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I hope to read this in the future. I just have a problem: I can’t find a copy of Pure by Jennifer Armentrout. But I have an ARC of Deity. :(

Fractured by Teri Terry – sequel to Slated which I totally fell in love with a few months ago. I highly recommend it. And Dance of the Red Death by Bethany Griffin – sequel to Masque of Red Death which I haven’t read but I’m dying to.

Victoria Scott’s agent has sold the rights to her YA Thriller, The Brimstone Bleed, to Scholastic.

 

Victoria Scott’s new YA thriller, THE BRIMSTONE BLEED, in which sixteen-year-old Tella competes in a grueling race, with the help of a genetically engineered animal, to save her brother’s life, to Erin Black and THE HUNGER GAMES team at Scholastic, in a two-book deal, for publication in 2014, by Laurie McLean at Larsen Pomada Literary Agents.
