To be able to keep track of the bad guys. That's my guess anyway. You know, bad guys can't breath inside with out some kind of obvious help so they can be easily seen.
ReplyDeleteI'd guess it might be an accumulation of envirnomental disasters -- maybe :)
ReplyDeleteA biological weapon destroyed it.
ReplyDeleteI really have no idea but wouldn't it be interesting if it had something to do with cigarette smoking?!
ReplyDeleteDeforestation and collapse of ozone layer due to pollution.

Thank you so much for your support for my new release! I love my book bloggers :)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so good! I saw the cover on a few blogs and I must have it! I love the idea of the novelettes. I'm reading a few series like that right now.
ReplyDeleteI would like to thank you for an increadoble book giveaway that looks & sounds utterly facinating, and also a genre that i love. In response to your question my thoughts on this would be that it is something to do with life and how one cannot live or breathe outside the 'Biome'. It could be to do with a Virus or how our bodies cannot cope with the atmosphere outside or the air (O2). There are so many ideas and leaving me in suspense only makes me want to read & find out! Thank you x
ReplyDeletei'm gonna say nobody loved the earth like they should so it was overcome with pollution and all kinds of chemicals and things that aren't biodegradable and they just all kept building up until the area was unlivable.
ReplyDeleteI am going to have to go with the popular theory that due to lack of care the Earth has basically become uninhabitable due to pollution and atmospheric changes.
