A lot of bookish news have been waving in Twitter and all over the blogosphere. I've been away from the blog for a few weeks and it's good to be back. :)

International Scene:

• I’m sure you’ve all heard about this but I’m going to repeat it anyway because it’s worth saying over and over again. Dreamworkshas bought the movie rights for Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo! I still haven’t read this debut since I haven’t been able to spot a copy anywhere (soldout probably.)

• The Torn Wing by Kiki Hamilton, the sequel to The Faerie Ring is out now!

• The 33rd ManilaInternational Book Fair started yesterday, September 12 and will last until September 16, 2012. Drop by at the SMX Convention Center to experience one of the longest-running bookfairs in Asia. There are discounts, goodies and book signings.
