2012 TBR Tower!

Happy NewYear everyone! Instead of doing an In My Mailbox post, I want to do something else. I’ve been thinking that in the last months of 2011, I wasn’t a very good blogger. I slacked and I hate it. Though I do have a reason = majors + hectic schedule of classes at the university. I want to make up for that by being slightly stricter when it comes to my TBR pile and my reviewing.

I want to start 2012 by posting my 2012 TBR pile. (Of course, now that the holiday is over, I’m expecting to get more books but as of now, this is my TBR.)

I present my 2012 TBR Tower:

I'm joining the 100 Books A Year Challenge this 2012 - It's necessary for me!

You can join here.

I’m thinking of not visiting Netgalley in the next three months. Not until I finish these ebooks and review them. (I really, really hope I can resist. I have a bad habit of clicking ‘request’ all the time when I’m there. It’s really my hand’s fault! *glares at right hand*)

I promise to try NOT to buy any new books for the next few months aside from Insurgent by Veronica Roth, The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa, the 4th book of the Tiger’s Curse Series by Colleen Houck, Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick, Fever by Lauren DeStefano and Tempest by Julie Cross. (Those are must-reads!!)

Okay, that’s all. Thank you for clicking, viewing, reading my post!

And if you’re posting your TBR or IMM post, I’d like to see it! Leave a link if you have one. J And I’ll drop by as soon as I can.

Damnit.. why are you making this so hard? Couldn't you have a normal TBR not an out of control one? :P

Oh man, SO agree with all the ones you do plan to buy... especially Insurgent and The Immortal Rules! I want them so bad!

  3. Oh dear me ... an earthquake and you would have disappeared beneath those books and never been seen again, hahaha!
But seriously, if I presented my TBR pile in just one stack it'd be three stories high. I'm not joking *sigh*. But this is what book buying bans are for :-D !!

  8. My TBR pile is here:

It currently has 107 books on it and I haven;t added in all the books I got for Christmas.

  9. You have a really impressive stack of TBR. Lots of them look really good. I just did two posts on my TBRs. Here they are: Ms. Martin Teaches Median and Inside of a Dog which only manage to show the top layer of my TBR mountain. Mine are clearly out of control and must be tamed!

  10. I think it is a good idea to try not to buy so many books. I'm thinking of putting myself on some rule where I have to read 5 or maybe even 10 of my own tbr pile books before I'm allowed to purchase a new book for each 5 or ten I read.

My tbr pile is over 400 books though so yeah I wish my pile was as small as yours is.

    Happy reading in 2012.

  11. Thanks for taking the time to read everyone! I'm thankful and relieved that I'm not the only one with TBR issues. I hope that I can read all of these by the end of 2012 (It will be difficult, I know!) Goodluck with our TBR piles!
