ReplyDeleteI wish they could pick another cover... I mean without the snake :/ I hope they give consideration to the people who are afraid of snakes! This book sounds really good, thanks for posting it Precious! ;) I have another book to look forward to!

ReplyDeleteI'm really intrigued! I think it's the allusion to the mysterious disappearance of the colony at Roanoke Island. I remember hearing that story for the first time in 8th grade, and I felt flabbergasted that 114 people could just disappear without a trace. Granted...it was the 1600s, but my teenage mind didn't take that into consideration. Needless to say, I've always felt a little let down that nobody offered any solid theories. I'll be interested to what the author comes up with to explain the disappearance of the new colony!
