An Apology + An Explanation + A List of Winners!

Dear Lovelies/Readers,

I know I have been a bad blogger of late. At this point in time, I almost only visit the blog once a week. *winces* But first let me explain why:

Reason #1: No internet at home.
Reason #2: Hectic schedule. School starts at 9:00am and ends on 5:30pm on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Reason #3: Thesis with a big fat T. (thank God it’s about literature.) So during my free time, I’m scrambling between shelves and moving from one library to another, requesting abandoned, dusty old books dating up to…60 years ago.

But I will try to be a better blogger by:

#1: Making sure that I have posts including reviews, WoWs, Stacking the Shelves and Dystopian Domination posts for the week.
#2: Continuing my meme, YA UnScene. (more features and giveaways)
#3: Interacting with other bloggers, commenting on other blogs.

I’d like to say SORRY to you guys and to my blog, too. *pats blog* I’m here to give you a sort of peace offering. I’ve the list of the winners of the recent giveaways.

Signed Possession & Signed Surrender by Elana Johnson: Liz Tan
Signed Copy of The Glimpse by Claire Merle: Marla

*I've emailed all the winners and all of them have replied.
If you didn’t win, don’t pout. There are other on-going giveaways for you!

The Immortal Rules Winner

Hi everyone! Just dropping by to announce the winner of the Hardcover of The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa, which is out today – er, yesterday since it’s already April 25 here.

For those who didn’t win, you should really pick this up.

Here’s a fragment of my review of The Immortal Rules:

The Immortal Rules offers a dark, strengthening and trying journey in a world filled with monsters. With the bite and terror of The Hunt by Andrew Xia Fukuda, The Immortal Rules is ugly and beautiful at the same time, horrifying and addicting. Join a kickass katana-wielding vampire heroine as she sets foot out of the city that caged her. I highly recommend this to post-apocalyptic readers and paranormal readers.

The winner has been contacted and has 48 hours to respond. Or a new winner will be chosen.
Thanks for participating!

First up is the winner of the Incarnate contest which has 416 entries in total. This is the first giveaway of the event and a few hours after I posted it, Kai told me why not use Rafflecopter I realized that I should’ve used it for Incarnate, too. But by that time, people have started joining. So I just went with the old style. I used Random.org for this giveaway and the winner is:

Winner of The Iron Fey Giveaway + an Upcoming Event (with giveaways)

Last month, I praised The Iron Knight. And with it, I realized that my lovely followers deserve a little something from me. So, I opened The Iron Fey Giveaway. There were 88 entries from people coming from different parts of the world like Philippines and Japan for Asia, Czech Republic and UK for Europe, Australia and US.

But the lucky winner of The Iron King by Julie Kagawa is…

Clarissa (Bookadicea) who said:
OH my! I would love to win The Iron King. Thanks for this Fab Giveaway!

Congratulations! I already emailed you. Due to the holiday season and the hectic schedules that people have at this time of the year, I’m giving you 72 hours to respond instead of just 48 hours like the usual.

Thanks to everybody who entered! To those who didn’t win…don’t worry. Early this year, I and my co-blogger, Kai of Amaterasu Reads hosted Dystopian Domination.

Guess what?

There’s a part 2! Yes, there will be Dystopian Domination 2 in January 2012. That’s just a few weeks away! There will be lots of giveaways! Remember to check back on the first day of January for the kick-off.
