It’s time for another Saturday in YA! Honestly, this is my way of catching up with all the YA news. I’ve been super busy and sleep-deprived this week that I barely had time to blog.
#1: Cover galore! Again, it has been a week full of covers. My favorites are:
First and foremost, the third book of one of my favorite series: Beautiful Chaos!
I love the Beautiful covers, the way the title stands out and the dark background. The color reminds me of the Dark Casters’ eyes.
Wherever You Go by Heather Davis and The Beginning of After by Jennifer Castle
Soft colors.
Deadly Cool by Gemma Halliday and Pledge by Kimberly Derting
Dark covers.
Enthralled by several paranormal authors.
I just love the cover!
#2: Jennifer Archer, the author of Through Her Eyes, is having a giveaway that will end on April 4, 2011.
The prizes: Kindles, iPods, leather journals, and autographed copies of Through Her Eyes.
What you need to do: pre-order Through Her Eyes but if you can't buy the book, you can simply email Jennifer here: thegargantuangiveaway@yahoo.com and she will still include you in the giveaway!
#3: Remember that I posted last week about Taste? Well, Kate set up a blog for it! If you want more info about Taste and the students of Barinkoff Academy, follow!
#4: I’m introducing everyone to Tahlia Newland! She’s a YA author from Australia and her agent is working hard to have her novel, Lethal Inheritance, published.
You can read the 1st Chapter of Lethal Inheritance here.
Wonderful! Thank you, Precious! :-)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE all of those covers! Particular the beautiful soft coloured ones. Very excited about Beautiful Chaos too - both the name and cover are awesome, I can't wait for October!
ReplyDeleteNow following The Coffee Bar :) And go aspiring aussie authors!
There are some amazing books coming out soon. I love the cover of the pledge. :) Great post.
ReplyDeleteI love the cover for The Pledge, too. And I just got Beautiful Creatures (one of the prequels to Beautiful Chaos) to read on vacation this week, so I'm very excited about that!
ReplyDeleteBecca @ The Bookshelf Muse
