In My Mailbox (11)

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi of The Story Siren!

These past few weeks, I’ve been getting more and more worried because the parcels I’ve been waiting for have not yet arrived. I’ve received a couple. One of which took seven weeks to get to me. The arrival is really delayed and I think the other books will take same amount of time, more or less, to arrive here. But last Friday, I got three awesome parcels!

Sorry I couldn’t post pictures this week, there’s something wrong with the laptop!

For Review:

From Author:

Solid by Shelly Workinger (signed) + bookmark - This came with a lovely note!
After the Kiss by Terra Elan Mcvoy (signed) - This book is so cute! It came with a heart-shaped note on top and a sweet note inside!
Nahtaia: A Faery's Tale by Diana Ilinca – this is some sort of companion novel for Zirconya. Diana is a very nice author and oh, she writes about the Fey!
Abithica by Susan Goldsmith
Covert Youth Agency - The Case of Tangled Love by Jason Ancona
Phantom Universe by Laura Kreitzer
Priscilla the Great by Sybil Nelson (Kindle Version) - for Teen Book Scene Tour

From Publishers:

Sourcebooks Fire sent me this…

Beautiful Dead: Summer by Eden Maguire (ARC) - I’m supposed to get Books 1 and 2 too. There was a mix up with the parcels and they’re sending me those. I’ll wait for those before even opening Book 3! I don’t want to ruin the story by not reading it in order!

Marshall Cavendish sent me a package with these inside…

Memento Nora by Angie Smibert (ARC)
Zitface by Emily Howse (ARC)
Crystal Bones (The Faelin Chronicles # 1) by C. Aubrey Hall (ARC)

I’m so happy to get Crystal! I love Fae novels! Finally, Memento Nora!

Then I got a box from Zondervan with the following inside…

Insight by Diana Greenwood (ARC)
Roadside Assistance by Amy Clipston (ARC)
The Last Martin by Jonathan Friesen (ARC)
Glamour by Melody Carlson (ARC)
Katy’s Homecoming by Kim Vogel Sawyer (ARC)
The Healer’s Apprentice by Melanie Dickerson (ARC)

I was only expecting two books from Zondervan so this was a surprise! I already have a signed finished copy of The Healer’s Apprentice, so I’ll be sharing the book love and giving it to a blogger friend! The Last Martin, I think, is MG. It looks cute! Glamour and Katy’s Homecoming are books 5 and 3 of two series. I haven’t read both series but I’ll see what I can do!

From Netgalley:
The most requested galley in the world...

The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter!

From Simon & Schuster Galley Grab:

The Day Before by Lisa Schroeder
Between Here and Forever by Elizabeth Scott
Possession by Elana Johnson

Won:

The Iron King and The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa from Bewitched Bookworms
It’s good to finally have my won copy of these! I’ll read them soon. Once I finish reviewing all the books for March tours and releases!

Signed Swag of Desires of the Dead, The Tension of Opposites, Losing Faith. Then bookmarks of Mistwood and Freefall.

Bought:

The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff (UK Paperback)

Wow. When I requested for The Replacement, it was September 2010. I just got a text last, last week from Fully Booked (local bookstore) saying that they have a copy of The Replacement for me available. It was paperback – a version I prefer. So I went there the following day and bought it!

That's it for IMM! Thank you to these wonderful people: Shelley Workinger, Terra Mcvoy, Diana Ilinca, Jason Ancona, Susan Goldsmith, Laura Kreitzer, Sybil Nelson, Sourcebooks Fire & Kay, Marshall Cavendish & Diana, Zondervan & Sara, Diana Greenwood and Amy Clipston, Netgalley, Simon & Schuster and Bewitched Bookworms!

  10. I've been seeing a lot of The Goddess Test around lately. I think you have a point...it probably is the most requested galley at the moment!

I'm curious to see what you think of Memento Nora. I've read a few reviews, and it seems like most people either love it or hate it.

    Have a great week!
