Darkest Mercy Writing Challenge

This week’s writing challenge is for faery and Melissa Marr fans! If you have read Fragile Eternity but haven’t grabbed the last installment, this is the perfect opportunity to finish the series.

In Melissa Marr's DARKEST MERCY, conflict is escalating in the Dark Court. A missing King, an emerging war and a mistake that could cost one brother his life. Darkest Mercy is a novel embroiled in conflict. As every good author knows with conflict comes resolution.

What to Do: Write a short story or poem that displays good conflict resolution. While the end results might always be fair to all those involved, your writing should seek to bring peace to the troubles at hand.

Winners & Prizes: Two writing winners will receive a free copy of DARKEST MERCY as well as three books of their choice from HarperTeen. Two comment winners will be selected at random to win a copy of DARKEST MERCY as well as three books of their choice from HarperTeen.

How to Enter the Darkest Mercy Writing Challenge: Post your writing to inkpop through the standard upload process. Make sure to put the challenge ID, IC#62, in the title. Once your project is uploaded, post the project's URL link IN THIS FORUM.
