Waiting on Wednesday: Demon-Kissed by H.M. Ward

For this week, I have two picks! I found the first one in goodreads! The second one was chosen because the fabulous cover has been released!

DEMON KISSED is a young adult paranormal-romance novel, by American author H.M. Ward. It tells the story of Ivy Taylor, a seventeen year old girl, who is claimed by both the martyr marked (people chosen to protect humanity from evil), and the demon kissed (soulless servants of hell).

While learning to survive in this new reality, Ivy discovers that she is at the center of a prophecy that foretold of her unleashing unprecedented evil into the world. Ivy relies on her friends, and finds herself in a forbidden romance, while trying to save the world.

City of Fallen Angels is the fourth book in the bestselling series The Mortal Instruments.

“Love, blood, betrayal and revenge — the stakes are higher than ever in City of Fallen Angels. Simon Lewis is having some trouble adjusting to his new life as a vampire, especially now that he hardly sees his best friend Clary, who is caught up in training to be a Shadowhunter—and spending time with her new boyfriend Jace. Not to mention that Simon doesn’t quite know how to handle the pressure of not-quite-dating two girls at once. What’s a daylight-loving vampire to do? Simon decides he needs a break and heads out of the city—only to discover that sinister events are following him. Realizing that the war they thought they’d won might not yet be over, Simon has to call on his Shadowhunter friends to save the day — if they can put their own splintering relationships on hold long enough to rise to the challenge.”

My Thoughts:

Love the covers of both books! I'm a big fan of the Mortal Instruments Series and I'm itching to read the fourth one! Demon kissed sounds good too!

  2. I love the cover of City of Fallen Angels, it's even better than the others. Like you, I'm a fan of the series and keen to get this next book.

My biggest compliment from a reader of Lethal Inheritance (ch 1 on my blogsite) was when they said my writing reminded them of Cassandra Clare's.
